Delete your account

You can delete your Canopy AI account and everything in it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

From inside the app

1. Open Canopy AI and sign in.
2. Open Settings from the menu.
3. Under your name, beside Log out, tap Delete account.
4. Read the warning and confirm.

The app contacts our server, which deletes your data and your account, then signs you out and clears the copy on your phone. The whole thing takes a few seconds.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@getcanopyai.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject line Delete my Canopy AI account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your beds, plants, plans, logs, inventory, soil tests, and schedules.
• Every photo you attached to a log entry.
• Your settings, including your garden’s location and any integration keys you pasted in.
• Custom plants and varieties you added to the library.
• The record of your AI requests.
• Your sign-in: email address, password hash, and display name.

What is not deleted, and why

• Crash reports already sent contain no account identifier, so they cannot be found and removed. They expire on their own.
• Cached AI answers are keyed by the question, not by you, and expire within 30 days.
• Your waitlist email, if you joined this website’s waitlist before it closed, is a separate list. Ask in the same email and we will remove it too.
• The local copy on your phone is cleared by the in-app path. If you delete by email instead, uninstall the app to remove it.
